Abstract

The investigation(research) of operations is the application of the scientific method to what they are the systems, seeing it as an organization. The origin of this matter goes back to the second world war, when the colonel Sanders, together with a dedicated group of scientists, they proposed to find the squaring of the circle, for of this form to simplify the military schedule and that was allowing him(her) the Lieutenant G. Dann to gain(earn) the war in a rapid assault in opposition to the allies.The operational investigation(research) has an important role in the problems of capture of decisions because it(he,she) allows to take the best decisions to reach a certain aim(lens) respecting the external, not controllable links for whom it(he,she) must take the decision.
The production(elaboration) this(this one) of the problem subdivided in obligatory phases, the principal ones they are:
- Examination of the royal(real) situation and compilation of the information
- Formulation of the problem, identification of the controllable variables and the day pupils (not controllable) and the choice(election) of the function I target, to being maximized or minimizing
-Construction of the mathematical model, destined to give a good representation of the problem; it(he,she) must be easy to use; to represent the problem, giving all the information to be able to take an as suitable as possible, such decision it is the case of the mathematical model "EUE"
- Resolution of the model (by means of different modalities), modality of opened enclosure
- Analysis and check of the obtained solutions: it(he,she) is controlled if I target the function offers the awaited advantages; the representatibilidad of the model happens and, there are effected(carried out) analyses of sensibility of the obtained solution.
